Cause of Coronavirus infection (recommended to consider the possibility of temporary return Japan)
To Japanese residents
To everyone staying Japan
July 13, 2021
1. As we have reported one after another, the infection situation of the new coronavirus in this area is getting worse, and the number of positive cases of Japanese people is increasing rapidly recently. For this reason, the acceptance capacity of medical institutions is approaching its limit, hospitalization is often refused, and the difference in admission to medical facilities by each administrative district that was held before the coup d'etat almost do not work. The medical system in this area is strained as a whole. Furthermore, in addition to the fact that ANA's direct flights are not operated frequently, connections in Singapore, which many Japanese are currently using to return to Japan, due to the country's border measures, the possibility of sudden restrictions will not be ruled out in the future.
2. Therefore, based on the above situations, it is recommended that Japanese residents consider the possibility of returning to Japan temporarily if there are no truly necessary and urgent tasks.

Regarding Direct flights of ANA in future (2021.5.21)
To Japanese residents
To everyone staying in Japan
1. Regarding Direct flights of ANA in future
- Narita-Yangon route of ANA will be suspended from regular direct flights due to difficulties in refueling at Yangon International Airport from February this year. Despite the harsh status, we continued to operate extraordinary flights with Okinawa refueling and landing to support Japanese residents. Due to the decrease in the number of passengers, flights departing from Japan on June 3 (Thursday) and departing from Yangon on June 4 (Friday) are expected to be the last flight that ANA regularly sets up.
- Specifically, the next return flight is expected to be from Yangon on June 25 (Friday), but if the number of passengers does not reach the expected number, the flight on that date will not be operated.
- It should be noted that, although it depends also on the future demand trends, we plan to consider a similar recruitment in the future.
- At present, it is still difficult to refuel at Yangon International Airport, so the number of passengers that can be boarded will be limited based on fuel consumption.
2. Regarding the flight departs from Yangon on June 25th (Friday)
- We will start accepting applications as follows in cooperation with related organizations for the flight departing from Yangon on June 25 (Friday) (the deadline is June 1).
- You need to register in the form below, which is operated by the Yangon Japanese Association by the registration deadline (June 1st) after this guidance. If you wish to board, please be sure to register.
Please note that the registered information will be shared with ANA.
